George S. Kurtz Educational Fund
In 2016, Angels in Disguise established the George S. Kurtz Educational Fund to award grants and scholarships for inclusive education for children with Down syndrome. This fund was named in honor of Georgie, beloved brother of Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, the Archbishop of Louisville, Kentucky, who is a proponent of inclusive education.
The grants are available to students attending Catholic schools with an inclusive educational approach.

George S. Kurtz Educational Scholarship
In 2016, Angels in Disguise established the George S. Kurtz Educational Fund to award grants and scholarships for inclusive education for children with Down syndrome in private schools.
​
We believe parents deserve choices in the education of their child, and we encourage private schools to create inclusive programs to serve all children.
Applications must be received no later than March 15th for funding of the following school year.
Who is George S. Kurtz?
This fund was named in honor of Georgie, beloved brother of Archbishop Joseph E. Kurtz, the Archbishop of Louisville, Kentucky, who is a proponent of inclusive education. Immaculata Classical Academy was founded in the Louisville Archdiocese in 2010 with the mission of providing an inclusive education for all children.
